Guidance for Memory Booster

What can you do to improve your student’s memories? Either it is in primary school or secondary school or even in university; there will always be ways and methods on how to improve the student’s memories in studies both mentally and emotionally. Some might be through scent, sight, taste and sound.
1. Mind Maps
Teachers commonly used this method to recall information as well as for brainstorming and solving problems. This is easier for the students to remember when they do their tests and quizzes. Moreover, mind mapping is commonly used in presentations, brainstorming, and decision-making whereby students can visualize and implement the concepts with different ideas. Educators encourage students to use mind maps creatively for more understanding the causes and effects of the problems.
2. Learning using Practical Work
Some educators might teach their students in the classroom or house tutoring, however, some educators will do things differently to enhance the memories of their students and at the same time able to motivate as well as to stimulate enjoyment for the students. For some practical tasks where it is involved objects and observations, students would be more aware of the situation and recall what they have observed.
3. Role Playing
Role play is a stimulating activity where students are allow being creative in the classroom. Teachers are using the role playing as a teaching tool for the students to able to act out the given scenario with different perspectives and think out of the box. Not only it could boost the student's memories but also able to practice the situations where they might encounter in the future as well as including to motivate quieter students to express themselves.
4. Boosting through Music
A student mentioned, “How can we remember things that we learn through music when we can’t even remember what we read yesterday?” Well, we are able to recall moments of the past when we heard a tune or melody that connected to that moment. Studies did mention that we can remember things when we hear classical or sentimental music as it can improve the mood and relax the mind.
